What is it? A lifestyle centered around eating mainly unprocessed foods, fresh fruits & vegetables, lean meats & whole grains.

So What Should I Eat? All fresh fruits and veggies, organic lean meats (beef, turkey, chicken, salmon, etc), nuts, natural nut butters, greek yogurt, whole grain bread, whole grain pasta, whole grain tortilla, quinoa, brown and wild rice, rolled oats, hummus, omega-3 enriched eggs, almond or soy milk, coffee, tea and water.

What Should I Avoid? Soda and other sugary drinks, fast food, fried food, white bread, white pasta, white rice, foods with added preservatives, dried fruits, products labeled “reduced fat” or “low fat”, chips, juice, candy bars and cereal.

The 80/20 Rule…eat healthy, whole & minimally processed foods 80% of the time, indulge 20% of the time!
